The products in our collections are not synthetically treated. They are left in their original state. Their surfaces change, just like our skin. Sometimes, they may become stained or change color upon contact with acidic or alkaline elements. They are made for those who love what they are: living matter.
As they have not been chemically treated, they may naturally release humidity, metal residues or rust. For this reason, we suggest that you not leave our products in contact with water for prolonged periods.
We suggest that any traces of dirt be removed immediately, using only water and a neutral detergent. Then rinse and dry all surfaces thoroughly – avoid using abrasive products. If the product is to be placed on a delicate surface, we recommend that a protective element be placed between the product and the delicate surface (ordinary felt pads work quite well).
