Nel Giorno, Nella Notte: material and light, that which remains and that which becomes. Within this relationship the gaze dwells in the becoming.
The composed presence of the material welcome through – a continuous fissure – the subtle shades of day and night evoked by Goethe’s chromatic glass. In a rectangle, three circles of different sizes define three passageways whose center is configured as a transitional space, a field in which light and color occur.
Designed to be experienced as part of everyday life in a home or workplace, the collection responds to the light of the surrounding environment, combining the material presence as it interacts with the luminous and chromatic dimension of glass.
The veins, stratifications, and natural characteristics of the Palissandro marble and sandstone selected for this collection result in a series of completely unique configurations.
Nel Giorno, Nella Notte suggests that every vision is a possible transformation: what we observe depends on the filter through which we interpret reality.
Each composition is an integral part of the same design concept, but no two are identical: each piece retains its own material history.
