Lentimutamenti is a Palissandro marble little box, extracted from an irregular block through a precise coring process.
The cylindrical volume asserts a minimal presence, while the lid is articulated by fine horizontal lines—achieved through subtle milling—that reveal themselves differently from every perspective. Akin to surfacing ripples, these textures safeguard a memory of water, acting as a distant echo of the material’s ancient transformation.
The underside of the lid features a concealed inset that ensures uninterrupted formal continuity, allowing the marble’s shifting, variegated surface to engage in a profound dialogue with the geometric purity of the object.
