LABA MARMO ESTREMO

Living the challenge and turning it into an opportunity: overcoming the old clichés that connote this noble material to open up to its versatility and transversality-thanks to its increasingly sustainable processing, but above all to the ability to “think” about it in a different way is therefore incredibly surprising and stimulating.

“Marmo Estremo” is the title of the lecture given by the teacher Sonia Pedrazzini at LABA Accademy as part of the Decorating course coordinated by Camilla Rossi. The conference – focuses on some exemplary projects including Paolo Ulian, Lorenzo Damiani, Patricia Urquiola, and Marco Gauzzini, Pietre Trovanti –  investigate, with technique, irony and poetry, the extreme possibilities of marble and reflect on its new semantic meanings and shifts in meaning.
