Pietre Trovanti and Dora Stanczel at Paris Design Week with micare obscuro
As part of Paris Design Week 2026, Pietre Trovanti and Dora Stanczel present micare obscuro, a project born from the encounter between material, craftsmanship and formal research.
The project will be featured at L’Appartement du Collectionneur, an exhibition hosted by Galerie Wagner in Paris, conceived as a lived-in environment where design, art and collecting enter into dialogue.
Micare obscuro was created through a collaboration between Pietre Trovanti’s Eclisseo Silver Black granite and Dora Stanczel’s Limoges porcelain. The stone, with its mineral presence and complex surface, meets the lightness of porcelain, giving rise to a work in which material becomes the primary narrative element. The result reflects the approach of Pietre Trovanti and Dora Stanczel, founded on the enhancement of materials and on a dialogue between artisanal savoir-faire and contemporary practice.
